Here at K1 Speed Austin, you can arrive and drive or you book a party of eight or more drivers. Whether you want to have an Adult/Teen Party or even a corporate event, group events include go-kart racing, room rental, catering, and medals for the top three winners.

Racing FAQs
How fast are K1 Speed’s go-karts? These 20 horsepower electric adult go-karts can reach speeds of up to 45 miles per hour—the fastest in the industry. Go Speed Racer! The junior karts can reach speeds of up to 20 miles per hour.
What are the height requirements? All junior racers will need to be at least 4 feet tall to race on the track. All adult and teen racers will need to be at least 4 feet 10 inches to race the larger, faster go-karts. Can adults and kids race each other on the track at the same time? No, adults and kids cannot race on the track at the same time unless the child meets the requirement for the adult carts. Otherwise, for a safer experience, junior karts and adult karts are never on the track together.
Can a child ride with an adult at K1 speed if they do not meet the height requirement? No, all carts at K1 Speed are single-seaters. So if your child is not at least 4 feet, they will not be able to race on the track. Do take advantage of the arcade, though, to keep the little ones entertained.
